Ebay has 2-3 combos currently listed
|
You can try “keh.com”. They usually have a few.

I own a Mamiya 6 and would never part with it. I am looking for a second body as well.
I just had a look on keh.com. There is one there without a lens.
If you buy one try and get it with the lens. These Mamiya Rangefinders need calibrating occasionaly and if you buy a body and lens separate either get it looked at or re-calibrated.
Fantastic camera. If you have the money get the 50mm wide as well.
There are a few on Ebay but beware of overused examples.

I own two bodies of Mamiya 6, and I won’t part with either at the moment. Mine are an older New Mamiya 6 and a newer Mamiya 6MF. I would get a Mamiya 6MF because it is a newer camera.
Several of my Venice, Italy photos were shot with the combo of the 6MF and the 50mm. The two square images plus two Grand Canal shots plus the Gondola approaching the Rialto Bridge.
Good luck on getting a combo in good condition!

i own a mamyia 7 and if i had the money ( and thoughts of having it for film and processing in the future) i would definetely buy a 6. If i came across any on the second hand shops here i will post it guys. cheers.

Since I bought mine in two Japanese shops, I looked up one of them on the Internet. Fujiya Camera has 4 Mamiya 6 bodies right now, only one of which comes with a lens and the lens is the standard lens for this body, 75mm. The 50mm lens is a wide angle lens for the 6. The 150mm lens is a moderate telephoto.
The 50mm lens is hard to come by. It took me a while to find one, and if I remember correctly, it was expensive. Apparently it is the most desirable of the three lenses.
|
I agree. The 50mm is a wonderful piece of glass.
I shot nearly all my stuff in Lebanon last year on it. You can find them but they are a bit pricey.
I would get the 75mm and the 50mm. The 75mm is superb for portraiture.
Tomoko can you send me a link to that store in Japan?

Mark,
Here is a link to the page showing the listing of all their used Mamiya in stock today.
“Mamiya in Stock at >www.fujiya-camera.co.jp
I should warn you that there is no English at the site.
I checked KEH in the US. They do have several 50mm’s in stock (as of last night).

Hi Tomoko
Thanks for that. I already have the 50mm and the 75mm. I am looking for another body(Camera)so I can use both without swapping a lens.
|
Mark,
I did buy the second of my Mamiya 6 bodies at Fujiya Camera. I should mention that my first purchase had a problem and I had it switched to another one or had it repaired. I don’t remember which. I bought my original set of the Mamiya 6 plus 75mm at Sanpou Camera. They have a better warranty policy of one year while Fujiya has a six-month warranty and several days in which you can return your purchase for refund and replacement. I don’t think neither will export their photo items, so you need to have somebody pick up the camera and check that over and send it to you.
I bought my 50mm at Sanpou when I was subscribing their newsletter and had my brother pick up the lens and ship it to me in the US.
