Looking for place to stay in Phoenix

I am a student photographer transferring to ASU in January. I want to go ahead and move to Tempe or Phoenix ASAP to get used to the adjustment in cost of living and to learn my way around. I’ve been looking for a studio apt or suitable roommate, but have not found both yet.

I don’t need a lot of space, just a fridge, oven and bathroom. Ideal rent would be $300 to $500 or less. I am a hard worker dedicated to my studies and photography. Not a partier.

I have a dog coming with me who is 5 years old and house trained. She is well-behaved, doesn’t bite, chew, or scratch furniture or surfaces. She is a mutt but appears to have a lot of black lab in her.
