LS messages not wrapping?
Same problem. I’m also using v1.506 on XP
|
I get this on some pages using Safari. But not all pages. Weird.
|
Sometime it does, sometimes it doesn’t even on the same thread. Using Mac OSX. Any rappers in the audience?
|
Yes, I am on a Mac OSX running Firefox.

Same problem here, running Camino on Mac OS X. Seems that some posts are fine, others aren’t.

THIS is the question I’ve been wanting to ask, but much too shy. Inquiring minds do want to know? Firefox on G4 and/or G5 here. (I actually copied an entire thread yesterday and dumped it into BBE (text editor) so I could read it wo jumping up and down.) I love rapping on my iPod and wrapping on my forums. Heh.

I am running Safari on Mac. I have the same hassles but, only on threads with links. Are we doing sonething wrong with links? Or is my computer knowledge dodgy.
|
bruce,i run safari on a mac as well.my suspicion is that the problem is caused when people cut and paste long segments.but i am just guessing.i am sure shinji will enlighten us when he has sussed out the answer/solution.

I agree, I think it has something to do with the coding that is imported when elements are pasted in. I had this happen to me on pasted in quote, so I simply reformatted it and the whole thread returned to normal. still, there ought to be a way to guard against this problem
