Lunar New Year in L.A.

Can anyone give me some suggestions of where I can see and photograph Lunar New Year celebrations this weekend in Los Angeles?

I’ll be there from Thursday night through Monday night and know it is a great place to be for this weekend’s festivities.

I’m not familiar with LA but I’ll be staying with family who are and can probably get access to a car. Thanks!

Any suggestions of other places worth checking out (museums, photo galleries, etc.) this weekend would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Happy New Year!

Chinatown would be a good bet.  Take 110 North from downtown.  Exit at Hill St.
