Elena Segatini was born in Mannheim, Germany on February 14, 1967.
She lived most of her life in Vicenza, Italy where her family still lives.
In 1991 she moved to the USA where she attended Mt San Antonio College.
Thanks to some amazing teachers, she was able to put together a beautiful portfolio that led her to win a scholarship and advance standing at one of the most prestigious art schools in the USA: Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
She received a Bachelor Degree in Photography and graduated with Distinction in December of 1999.
Since then, Elena has been traveling back and forth between Europe and the USA working for Magazines and Ad Agencies in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Milan. Clients include Marie-Claire, Vogue Gioiello, Corriere della Sera, Elle, Elle Decor, Penthouse and many others.
Her images reflect her dreams; they are little frames of fantasies and fables that since she was a little girl, she always created in her mind with her eyes closed … now she can finally bring them to life.
“I’ve been lucky to find amazing people to work with me on my projects. They ‘ve always been able to interpret my ideas in a very creative way and they have always been able to give me their best and more. Sometimes it’s very hard to find a team of people that can let themselves go with creativity. Together we have created wonderful pieces of Art.”
I dream every day … that’s my secret … Elena
