At the moment you can publish by invitation only. I’ve submitted my name and will hope for the best.

Hi, it just came to my mind now. Did anyone checked with usage terms and conditions of this site?

Sounds like they want to use your images to promote the site.

Ha, I was just highlighting the same paragraph to post. This is similar to the flickr agreement, which was modified recently to remove similar language, no?

by Jonathan Lipkin | 18 Jul 2008 14:07 | Brooklyn, United States |
Personally, I don’t find that agreement particularly bothersome.

Bothers me. A lot. Stupidly didn’t check the terms, otherwise my header post would have been different from the start. Same reason I did not enter the $20k Blurb book contest: rules say they get to abuse all losers’ images forever, universe wide. Pass. Don’t see yours on the short list, Erica.

I just sent an email to magcloud, expressing some concern over the license. They told me they were in the process of revising the license. I’ll let you know if anything happens.
