Magnum Workshop prize winner

The Magnum Workshop in Toronto is over and I’m very stoked that my colleague Charla Jones received the Scotiabank prize of $5000 to further her work and vision. Charla’s a very talented, humble photographer and I’m sure she turned several shades of red when her name was announced ;)

Can’t wait to see the work produced by the participants !

CONGRATULATIONS to Carla….:))

i dont know her personally (though i’ve seen her work before in the globe and elsewhere)...i’ve seen some stuff too from Africa, so great for her…..that’s cool a hogtown clicker took home the bacon! :)).

i havent met much of the globe team or newspaper photogs, which is weird…though arantxa’s my best friend in town…

anyway, hope u all are celebrating her success:
