Photojournalist and editorial photographer, Mahesh Bhat is based in Bangalore, India. He has photographed for all the top Indian publications including India Today, Business Today, Outlook Money, Outlook Traveller, Illustrated Weekly, Indian Post, Sunday, Verve, Inside Outside..etc and International publications such as New York Times, Washington Post, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Newsweek, Fortune, Businessweek, The Guardian, Economist, The Times and publications from Italy, Poland, Australia, Finland and Netherlands. His corporate clients include Nortel Networks, HP, BP (British Petroleum), Wipro and VISA. Mahesh has also worked with several Indian advertising agencies such as JWT, Lowe, Contract, Enterprise Nexus..etc

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]-->He has authored one picture book on Karnataka and co-authored four more books. Two of them, “Karnataka” (1997) and “Bangalore-Scenes from an Indian city” (1994) are in the libraries of several top international universities. He has held two solo exhibitions at Oxford Book Store in Bangalore and Mumbai. His pictures have been part of a group show in the Time Life Building in New York City (2003) and in the University of California at Berkeley (2005). His photos of Tsunami aftermath in Srilanka were part of the evening slide show at Visa Pour L’Image at Perpignan in 2005.

Mahesh is currently working on a book on the “Unsung Heroes of India” – on people who have contributed to society against personal odds.
