Hi

I am traveling to a pretty remote place in the South Pacific soon, and the areas that I am visiting are pretty remote and mostly run on generators. So I am wondering if anyone could recommend a device that can regulate voltage and prevent my laptop from blowing up. I know there are voltage surge prevention devices but from what I understand most of them used for in cases when lightning hits your house and so on.

If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated.
