Marc Hermann

Marc is a freelance news photographer in New York City, specializing in spot news coverage. Working “on the street” since age 15, he has been published by the New York Times, New York Post, Brooklyn Papers, Home Reporter, Chief-Leader, and is a contributing photographer for the New York Daily News, Brooklyn Eagle, and publications of the New York Fire Department.

He is also a proud history geek, constantly seeking out information, images, and artifacts pertaining to the “glory days” of New York, when a 4×5 Speed Graphic was the photographer’s best friend.

Marc is a member of the New York Press Photographers’ Association and the Fire Bell Club of New York.
