Marie-Anne Mehay

Picture editor depuis 18 ans, j’ai travaille chez Sygma (Corbis),Gamma, le Nouvel Economiste et Viva magazine.
Actuellement freelance, je collabore notamment au magazine Le Pélerin et aux Editions Atlas.
J’enseigne également à l’Universite de Marne-la-Vallée, section Multimédia «Photothèque et documentation ». J’ai en préparation un
album consacré à la photographie pour les 12-15 ans.
Parallèlement au métier de picture editor, j’exerce celui de journaliste (presse écrite) ; je suis spécialisée plus particulièrement
dans la littérature et la photographie (critiques, portraits…) mais suis ouverte à d’autres domaines.
Je suis à la recherche de nouvelles collaborations.

I have been a picture editor for 18 years, working for Sygma (Corbis), Gamma, le Nouvel Economiste and VIVA magazine.
I freelance regularly for Pelerin magazine (Bayard publishing group) and currently I am working for Editions ATLAS on an encyclopedia about photography for children aged 12 to 15.
When not working as a picture editor I teach in the «photolibrary&documentation » section of the Marne-la-Vallee University Multimedia department.
I write as well, in particular about literature and photography. For VIVA magazine I was the monthly book critic and profile writer from 1999 until 2004. I am open to new areas and collaborations.
