Mario Jonny Santos

I am a photojournalist based in Dili, East Timor. The photo I took mostly concerned everyday life. I was part of East Timor delegations attending international events such as the 2003 Sea Games in Vietnam as a photographer. I was part of the Timor media delegation to cover Timor Leste’s President Xanana Gusmao official visit to Medan and Aceh after December 2004 Tsunami tragedy. I have completed documentation projects for National and International NGO’s such as UNICEF, UNDP, and UNFPA. Currently, I work as a photographer at Timor Post daily newspaper. I am a founding member of Timor Leste Photographers’ Association (TiLPA).
