Mark Dolan

I am currently teaching photojournalism and new media at Southern Illinois University.

I have worked as a staff photographer at newspapers in Florida and Alaska, Director of Photography at The Achorage Times, Picture Editor at the Providence Journal and Photojournalism Professor at the Newhouse School of Syracuse University.

In 2005 I embraced my first mid life chrisis – I quit my job, sold my house and traveled around the country visiting with family and friends and working on my own project using still photography and sound documenting “The Heart and Art of BBQ in America”
