Hi all,

I recently had the plastic, focusing tab break off/in-half of my Summicron 35 f2. I called Leica and they told me 3-4 weeks – for a piece of plastic! I use this camera every day, and I’ve pondered trying to glue the piece on myself.

Can anyone suggest a repair guy in D.C. I called Strauss and can’t seem to get them to let me talk to someone who knows what I’m talking about (when I the person on the phone what the problem was she proceeded to ask me, “this is photographic equipment, right?” Then, “what is the RANGE of this lens?”)

So, if you know of anyone I could go to in the D.C. area, please let me know.
