Her main interest has been in documenting those vitality who exist in their life. Many of such images have been published in the books, “Re-Birth – Women beside the Ruins” (Mado-sha Publishers, 2003) and “Around the Taklamakan Desert” (Tosei-sha Publishers, 2005).
Her photographic reports have also been published in various magazines and newspapers.
Her work has been exhibited in several galleries including the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum.
She has been the recipient of numerous photographic awards, and “Higashikawa new photographer prize” (in Japan, 2007).
