Matteo Bertolino

Born and graduated in Torino (Italy) in Political Sciences, Matteo obtains an MA in “Development Studies”. Curiosity towards the world will lead him to work in the Cooperation & Development sector at various levels in four continents.
Passion for photography kept growing together with the numerous experiences abroad, leading him to specialise particularly in “social reportage”. Matteo, moreover, is engaged in the “communication and development” field, professionally documenting development cooperation projects and realising different photographic products, building up more incisive communication strategies for development.
Among various experiences, Matteo cured and organised a photographic exposition in a highly recognized museum in El Salvador (“MARTE”), which has seen the collaboration between local and international artists.
As a free lance photographer, he collaborates today with magazines, journals, photo agencies and NGOs.
Matteo is currently based in Bolivia, working on several photographic projects.
