Matthew Van Saun

Matthew Van Saun is a student studying Public Health and a freelance photographer based out of San Francisco.
Four years ago he had the opportunity to travel extensively in South East Asia,this sparked his interest in photography and photojournalism. Since that moment of discovery he has been hooked on traveling and photojournalism.

He also has a strong interest in human rights the environment and health care issues. Documenting what he sees with his camera is very natural.
His main goal is to expose human rights issues to the public by creating photo essays that are emotional and thought provoking.
In this way he gives a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
