Meridith Kohut is a freelance photographer based in Caracas, Venezuela. She has covered Latin America for four years, working in Mexico, Guatemala, Venezuela and Colombia. She is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Journalism, Eddie Adams Workshop XX and former first assistant to Eli Reed of Magnum Photos.

Her work has been published in The New York Times, Newsweek International, TIME magazine, various newspapers and action sports magazines and has been exhibited in Europe and The United States.

She is available for assignments throughout Latin America, the Caribbean and the USA.

Meridith Kohut es una fotógrafa independiente con base en Caracas, Venezuela. Ella ha cubierto América Latina, durante cuatro años, trabajando en México, Guatemala, Venezuela y Colombia. Se graduó en la Universidad de Texas – Escuela de Periodismo, Eddie Adams Taller XX y fue la primera ayudante de Eli Reed de Magnum Photos.
