About

After being lost for several years in his soon-to-be nine-to-five nightmare, Michael Panganiban finally saw the light. More fittingly, he used light. He used it to create images full of drama and diversity, with his artistic vision whose influences range from goth to expressionist, baroque to punk, hauntingly abstract to stunningly glamour.

Once he finished basic photography as a school requirement in 2005, he then studied the theories and principles of photography on his own. Trained further in the concepts of photographic lighting by cinematographers and directors, he then set out to surprise the industry with his stunning imagery.

Michael’s images focus more on fashion and portraits, because he feels that the images he creates convey a certain expression of emotions and truth – emotions seen through the intricate thread and weave of fashion, and truth evident in the twisted expressions of the people he immortalizes in the imagery he creates.

Canon 24-70mm 2.8L and 28-135mm IS alternatives

both of these are great lenses, but are priced a bit too high for my budget.

can you guys suggest cheaper third-party (sigma, etc) lenses with range similar to those mentioned above?
i’m not too particular with the range though, so you may also suggest lenses with a few millimeters give or take.
