Michael Trenerry is an Australian photojournalist born in 1977 and currently based in Nairobi, Kenya.
He first developed an interest in photography in the early nineties having a desire to capture the world as he saw it. With a deep curiosity for the medium he studied photography in Melbourne in 1995, London in 2001 & then studied again in Sydney 2003 with an additional focus in multimedia.
His current interests focuses on humanitarian and conflict based issues in and around East Africa.
In the coming months he’ll be covering stories in East Africa concerning the displacement of people & issues surrounding the downfall of the global economy and will also be covering stories in the Demographic Republic of the Congo surrounding the displacement of oil and gold.
