About

Craving the emotive nature of the stilled. Yes. Still. Stare. Stay. Pull. Push. Crave. Us… The music starts. Or perhaps silence. Inhale. Taste buds. Cave into the pound and pump of it. Find and being found: the way and wonder, in this brief of Life. Breath. Breathe. A poignant memory, that I never would have remembered if it weren’t for this contraption in my hand. Pen. Camera. Explore. Weigh the way Life feels in You… With the onslaught of apathy and the vigorous progression of a fast forwarded society, I find breathtaking to behold something of substance that disturbs the mundane thought into a vast array of muses or gallops a heart into soothing, peaceful, and nourishing ecstasy. Words have the power to do this; photographs have the grip to engrave the quintessence and goad the struggling soul to placid or tantalize the placid mind to struggle. I have no sweeter joy then to share Life with those who envelope my days. In doing so, my poignant ardor is to affect the weight of the beauty of soul, illuminate the essence of nation, and crown the dignity of humanity as a whole. I want to free. This is all I want to do for the rest of my life: Take care of people… each heart, soul, and yearning. To do-Love. Act. To share in the spirit of individuals via paint, photograph, word, craft or design is a gorgeous investment, and to Live in Love with people… that’s a wonder that is precious beyond utterance: A life I want to give and behold… my greatest desire.

Unlimited awards for photographers. Every penny coming in, goes straight back out to those awarded: An exhibition, a camera, a charity, a visual culture:

The 2010 Visual Culture Awards is now calling for entries.

The Visual Culture Awards is an international annual call for exhibition. The theme of this year’s call is, ‘Cultural Peace,’ and hopes to showcase a photographer’s culture, or a culture the photographer has endeavored to explore, in a positive or progressive Light.
