Call for Entries | PROJECTION 09

Projection 09 is a slideshow event organized by Redeye at the Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool, England, on the 28th January 2009. We are particularly keen to receive submissions from Lightstalkers members of slideshows under 5 minutes long on the theme of Climate Change.

With dramatic changes to our social, environmental and economic world, we are looking for resolved bodies of photographic work which in some way reflect or interpret this current period of flux. The theme is purposely left open to interpretation and we strongly encourage individuals or groups to be imaginative when considering their final submissions.

The deadline for submission is Friday 9th January 2009.

Further details on how to submit can be found here.

For more information, you can write to me at mishka@redeye.org.uk or to lggiles@redeye.org.uk.

(Open Eye is one of the UK’s leading photography galleries and has has previously hosted solo shows by Alec Soth, Susan Meiselas, Pieter Hugo, Joel Meyerowitz, Tom Wood, Sebastiao Salgado and Simon Norfolk. Redeye, the Photography Network, is based in North West England and aims to make life easier for photographers and photography in the region and beyond, by providing information, opportunities, events, training and professional development.
