hello friends,
my partner and i are going to be making the big move to Sydney, Australia in early 2009, and I am interested in meeting some artistic, interesting, good hearted people to connect with.
We have been blessed to have lived in Whistler, British Columbia for the last 11 years, (I was raised in Vancouver, my wife is originally from Melbourne) but alas the itch for change and challenge is strong and so we go from one extreme to the next. I am excited to be in a new place with new career experiences and opportunities.
On the work front, I am a documentary style photographer doing mostly editorial and personal work right now (whatever I can get my hands on really) but would be interested in assisting commercially, fashion, etc to meet people, learn and grow. I am not expecting any golden hook ups, (although I am open to ’em!) but would simply love to hear from anyone that is living and shooting in Sydney, likes drinking coffee, wine, going for the odd surf and meeting kind, like-minded people.
Where a good lab is, interesting studios, any interesting exhibitions, etc… are things I am excited to learn. We will most likely be heading to the Northern beaches area. Community has always been very important to us both, and it is our desire to expand our network of friends to the southern hemisphere!
