I started working in civil development since my first year in college, then I became the volunteers coordinator, and an interpersonal skills (soft skills) trainer. while doing that, I worked as a free lance interpretor, translator, and researcher. Itranslated few books, researched the refugee camps in Jordan, and reasearched the presedential election in egypt. after graduating from university, I worked with the Peace Corps Organization as a cross cultural coordinator, then I sign a contract with a branch of the GTZ organization (it is a German organization, it is pretty much like the USAID) as a conference coordinator. I felt as if am drawning in piles and piles of work, so I decided to do something crazy, so I volunteered in Lithuania in a big school in a small village as a social worker,team-building trainer, cultural resource, and held a religious dialog project. while being in lithuania, I got really sick and almost died so I decided to come back after three months, and work at Al-Hayat Center for civil society development, actually I started working at Al-Hayat since its establishment June 2006, and I never stoped working here even when I was in lithuania, cuz I used to be in touch with my team in Jordan through e-mails. this summer (2007), I was supposed to sign a contract with the Peace Corps to train the new volunteers. However; I got a good offer to work as a research assistant at the office of Legislative Strengthening Program-Jordan under the umbrella of State University of New York (so am in the field of politics now), and that is where I am right now…
