About

Murad SEZER was born in 1969 in Germany. He was raised in Istanbul, Turkey. Sezer, who has a journalism B.A. from the Istanbul University, built a career as a sports photographer in the Turkish media for nearly 10 years before joining The Associated Press in 1997. Sezer was part of an Associated Press team that won the Pulitzer Prize on the Breaking News Photograpy in 2005. April 2009 Sezer joined Reuters News as chief photographer for Turkey based in Istanbul.
