Mustafa Hotel, Kabul contacts? Nothing but dead air on the other end.

Hi All,

I wanted to ask if anyone has been able
to get through to the Mustafa Hotel by
any other contact than these:
e-mail: mustafa_hotel@hotmail.com
phone: 0093 70276021.

I have been trying for weeks via e-mail
and days by phone and get nothing but
dead air in response.

Has anyone got another mobile or
satellite phone number for them?

Thank you in advance.

Best Always,

James Whitlow Delano.

James try and send a mail to Jared Moosey or Teru, they’re both in town at the moment, I’m pretty sure Jared was staying at Mustafa before his embed. His mail is operations@sinrazon.org. I stayed at a hotel called Sal Sal in Shar-e-Naw, which is a locals place. Adib the guy that looks after it is a diamond, speaks great english, free breakfast of Naan and tea and half the price of Mustafa. Needless to say it’s not the Intercontinental.

i stayed in Mustafa, you don’t really need a reservation…i liked the place a lot, although it’s very basic but beware that is in proximity of quite a few potential targets that have already been targeted…the day before i left they caught a suicide bomber right next to Mustafa…

Well the previous owner was murdered, in his shower, some months back, so they may not be on the ball with ‘bookings’.....! Was sure I had a different email but can’t find it, will send it on if I dig it out….Might be worth contacting Peter Jouvenal, sure he’ll help one way or other…..

Thanks for the information. I will be aware of people with
big backpacks like mind, Ziyah.

Teru got in touch with me and provided some useful information.
Will any of you be there in June? I will be there in the second
half of this month.

Cheers,

James.

Plenty of room at the Mustafa. And there are plenty of other options in town. You can always drop into the Mustafa first and then look around for somethign that suits you better. If you’re going to stay for a long time you might consider going in on a house. You’ll come out cheaper in the end and your stay will be more pleasant.
