Mustafa works as a photographer for the Associated Press in New Delhi, India. He was posted in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh in Southern India with AP for one and half years where he covered assignments like the Tsunami, the Maoist rebels, drought etc. Before joining AP, he worked for an Indian Daily, The Indian Express for over five years.
Mustafa is working on the Human Face of Naxals (Maoist Rebels) for the National Foundation Of India media fellowship 2007-08.
