Photography, storytelling, and technology comprise the foundation of Nathan Rapheld’s professional life. Before committing to a career of multimedia photojournalism, he spent 12 years on the cutting edge of Internet technologies working for companies such as Netscape, WebMD, and Silicon Graphics Inc..
With this technology skill-set as a foundation, Nathan was accepted to the Masters program at the prestigious School of Visual Communication at Ohio University. During his time in the program, he placed in the College Photographer of the Year (CPOY) photo competition and was accepted to and attended the Eddie Adams Workshop.
Nathan is now based in San Francisco, California, where he freelances as a photographer, writer, and multimedia developer. He accepts domestic and international assignments both short and long term.
