Neil Milton began photographing professionally after folding too many fireworks – the independent record label that he owned and managed. His first work involved his love for football and graduated through to photographing gigs around Central Scotland. He now concentrates on street photography and classic documentary-style photojournalism.
Neil has worked for regional and national press in addition to his occasional dips into the music industry photographing promo, press and gigs alike. He is currently working on several street photography projects most notably in Glasgow, Warsaw and across Iceland.
Exhibitions: Glorious Failure (2007) – Neil’s first exhibited work is a visual account of the build up and subsequent let down of Scotland’s final European Championship qualifier. It is showing at the Scottish Football Museum at Hampden Park in Glasgow as a slideshow exhibition.
