New redesigned web page
Hey Kieth,
Loved “dancers” and some real gems in “thats life” not crazy about the edit of workers and portraits, although the photographs are great I feel there is a conflict between the straight commercial portrait and the funky portrait same with “workers” (straight/comercial). Maybe if you were to separate commercial/editorial from personal and place them in separate sections of the website? Also some of the pics seem a little washed out, i’m not sure if this has something to do with my screen but I thought I might let you know. Nice to see new work though.
Felicidades,
Adam

Hello Keith,
your images are washed, but it’s not your fault, I had downloaded two of your jpegs to check and they look very good in Photoshop.
Well… I think that the problem is the tool that you used to make the gallery, a Java script or something in the CSS that make the link is creating like a translucid layer, try to disable the click option on the images.
One more thing: compress the images a little bit, save them with quality 9 or maybe save again with 10. 380kb on an image is too high, try to work with 70-120kb on each one.
Now, what really matters, nice set of photographs. I like more the color photographs from the essays and the portraits. I can see what Adam said about comercial/personal, but I think that it could (maybe…) be solved just reediting the photos, this way you don’t need to split your work.

nice minimalist site:)
no washing out of photos here,
agree with guilherme, you need to scale them down in size, checked a few of them and they are between 400-500 kb in file-size. that’s half a megabyte. takes for ages to download each one of them, even on a 5000kb/s dsl connection.
with the save-for-web in ps you should be able to strip them down to 100-200kb each, at least…
:)
