Hi,

I just updated my website with a new story called Cambodia Clear Water Fire.

You can also see a multimedia presentation of this story on the Ka-set website

Enjoy,

John

Wicked. Spot news with sound by a Magnum dude! What’s happening to this world? :0)) My paradigms are crumbling. All sarcasm aside i dig it, especially the silky grays. Mike

Michael,

It is ‘squashed dogs news’ (‘chiens écrasés’ in French) or ‘man bites dog’ news. I’ll try to explain why I’m doing this in a post on the Magnum blog wich should be published some time this end of the week…

Cheers,

John

John, I wish there were more ‘aftermath’ shots here, they are the ones I keep coming back to

You’ll have to have some patience as the aftermath has not really taken place yet… No one has decided yet what will become of all those people. And nothing will happen until after Khmer New Year, end of this week… But don’t worry I’ll do the follow up…

It looks and sounds pretty damn good for a ‘squashed dog’ John!

I am thinking its the fact that the poor buggers who have just lost everything won’t be compensated or rehoused is the point, is it not?

Hey did you do the sound on the LS-10?

by lisa hogben | 14 Apr 2008 07:04 | sydney, Australia |
Yes Lisa, the LS-10.

Very happy about it…

As for the rehousing. We’ll wait and see until after the Khmer NYear. But it’ll probably be for the owners only.

Michael,

The explanation on why I’m doing ‘squashed dogs’ is to be found on the Magnum Blog as of now…

Well actually I was taking a crack at how fast the info made it into the public sphere—like spot news, shot and then straight onto the wire. :0)) Which is not typical for Magnumers.

This type of thing is very common here in Moscow, a fire destroys a historical building which gets rebuilt as a shopping mall by the construction company of the mayor’s billionaire wife…

My congratulations on the website, it looks great, for unsquashing squashed dogs.
