New York - room or studio needed

I’m looking for room for rent or small studio. To the end of this year, maybe little more. We (me and my girlfriend) are both photographers. We have too spend some time together in NY because our project. I’m writer, she does still lifes and we have our work studio already, so we are pretty quite couple. No kids, no pets, no party, no smoking, no trouble or so.
We can take care of someone’s place.
Manhattan or Brooklyn preferable.
