Hey LS,

This is kind of a long story but, my dear friend Robyn Malter in Kuala Lampur is in a bit of a bind and I wondered if anyone had any ideas.

Her Fiancé is Iranian and has been held at the airport for the past three weeks because he did not have a return ticket upon his recent arrival.

At the moment they are threatening to deport him to Iran where he would have to serve 2 years in the military and they would not be able to marry.

Kind of nuts right?

If you have any ideas on who to contact in Malaysia, it would be very helpful. Fixers? She’s made pretty good strides so far but I think is fighting what may be a losing battle.

Sorry for bothering you about it, but I thought the LS community might have some suggestions.
