Nikon Coolscan availability

hey all,

Having been out of Thailand for a few months, can anyone tell me if they have seen any shop selling the Nikon Coolscan scanners?

Would like to pick one up when I’m back if possible.

I haven’t seen a shop here but I have an old LS-2000 that I haven’t used in years and would like to get rid of. Last time I used it about 3 years ago it worked ok but it’s been sitting in a box ever since. I used to have the auto slide unit but sold that on ebay. This unit is heavy so selling it on ebay isn’t likely to work due to high shipping costs. I have a scsi interface to go with it too.
Anyway, just mentioning it in case something like this would work for you.

I did look at those but since I only have a Mac book pro, the SCSI issue might cause hassles, i’ll see if i can find any useful converters, thanks

For a new one its going to be NIKS (Silom) or Sunny Camera (various locations and shopping centres in BKK)

Both same company I understand just different branding.
