I’m launching a new website — storiesfromaway.com — for the memoir of 15 months I spent on leave from college in Turkey, Iraqi Kurdistan, and Iran starting in June 2007, along with my photographs from the same time.

I’m posting Stories from Away online for free (no ads, either) and I’ll add a downloadable version soon. It’s the equivalent of around 400 book pages in length.

Any comments on the writing, photos and their presentation, website layout, business model or lack thereof, etc would be greatly appreciated.
