OEIL PUBLIC membership application

Oeil Public, the photographic agency based in Paris, is opening its doors to new members. We are looking for photographers with a distinct signature and a strong body of work.
Candidates should send a selection, no more than 50 images, of their work – especially feature stories.
Please, submit your work on a CD as Jpg at a size no greater than 200 dpi x 30×20 cm along with embedded captions.
Both on a word.doc format we need a CV and a brief statement about your professional vision for the future. This will help to give us an idea of who you are.
The existing members of Oeil Public will consider new entries during the annual meeting in September. Your submission should be entered no later than August 1st 2008 to the address below.

Can you please tell us a little more about Oeil Public? Perhaps a website? What type of work are you interested in? What is the direction of the agency? Where is the work produced through the agency regularly published?

Hi !
My name is Samia and I work at Oeil Public, so I’ll answer your questions.
Aditya: the agency would like to open its doors worldwide. So photographers from any country can apply.
Ed: Bill already kindly gave our website (www.oeilpublic.com). I can add that Oeil Public is a photo agency born more then a decade ago from the idea of photographers willing to work independently but within a common spirit, professional exchange and constant emulation. It is run by a collective of 10 photographers who have the same professional and ethic line. Their work are published in different French and international media (Le Monde, Le Figaro, Newsweek, Time, D, Internazionale, El Mundo, GEO, Stern, Epsilon…).
Hughes: French or English, both will be accepted.
I hope I answered your questions.
