There is a rescued puppy here in Kabul that I am determined to bring back to New York. Got the dog passport (yes, they exist) and all the shots. Wondering if anyone has done this before, and had any suggestions for best flights and airlines to transport dog with me.

The place I used in Kabul for paperwork and shots: Tigger house, exists almost exclusively for the military servicemen who want to send dogs back home. That is a shipping service essentially that costs about $3000.

Not an option here. I want to take the dog with me in the cargo if need be.

If anyone has done any thing similar do let me know what the most amenable airlines might be.
