Oran – the setting for Camus’ The Plague . When I tried asking some French Algerian friends about the city they laughed at me and said they’d never heard of it. Glad to know one can actually visit.

Oran exists,
it is an intriguing place, actually a time machine of sorts, great people, impressive setting, history showing everywhere, I didn’t stay long enough unfortunately…

est ce que tu pourrais me dire qu’elle a été ton experience à Oran? Je me souviens que lorque j’etais etudiante j’y suis allée (Alger) et faire des photos dans la rue etait tres difficile deja?

est ce que tu peux me dire dans qu’elle condition tu y es allée et si tu as eu toi meme quelque problème? j’ai envie d’y retourner cet ete mais ça me freine un peu

Did customs give you any trouble about declaring your equipment Bruno? I never got further west than Tipasa but other than overzealous security guards and officials, I found Algeria rather fascinating, time machine is right.
