Pablo has also photographed societies in transition in different locations. He won the world Press Photo award for his series Morphine Addicts in India (1975) and the World Press Picture of the Year for the Bhopal Gas Tragedy (1985). He has taken part in several international exhibitions and published in Newsweek, Time, National Geographic and other prestigious journals.
In 2006 he showed his work at Noorderlitch Photo Festival- Holland, ChobiMela – Bangladesh & Angkor Photo Festival – Cambodia. In 2007 he will show at Month of Photography – Tokyo at the Olympus Gallery June, Arles Photo Festival in July and be part of a group show on Indian Photography at Newark Museum in America.
