Palestine and Israel - Im in search of enlightment

Im looking for a little bit of information that I cant get from the media , and Im sure a lot of you here have much more personal experience than most people

The problem isn’t new , but not solved for sure (actually escalating) so I would like to know your opinion about the Israel and Palestine conflict.
I spent of time researching and trying to understand when I came across the Mixx.com forum and i became really aggravated by reading what people has to say

I posted there and I would like to know what you think. I’m here to hear your opinion and learn not discuss …

Its said to see how many people are brainwashed… Its exactly what the POWER wants … divide people … using religion , economy , safety , fear , ignorance to divide the population , making it easy to conquer them all ! If we ALL just realized what’s happening , how we have been manipulated , how we have been bought , and instead of fighting each other we should UNITE , and take the POWER BACK to the masses , making the world a good place to live for everybody not only for the ELITE Of course its a hard goal , to achieve that the first thing that must go is , at least , the toxic varieties of religion , not talking about one religion , Im talking about all of them , they all have its toxic segments , and of course , they all have it’s good side also but its all blended so well . Daniel Dennett ( Professor of Philosophy at Tufts University.) has a great proposal to try to solve the problem . The proposal is to have a national curriculum on world religions that is compulsory for all school children from grade school till high school , including the public , private and home schools . “If we taught the young people about the history and practice ( no spin , unbiased ) of ALL religions , and after that you can teach them anything you want . Any religion that could flourish under those conditions would be a benign , wonderful and valuable religion." —Daniel Dennett If we look at the toxic forms of religions we find that they are all practices that survive by the enforced ignorance of their young . Its a real can of worms your opening here… and I don’t think LS is the right place for you to gain real enlightenment…

I don’t know you can get truly reliable information actually.
But I will say this – anything you are told, even here, take as a grain of salt and treat as a persons opinion, and not necessarily straight out fact.

I think the best opinion you can get is your own, reading and analizing all you can about the conflict history (hard and long task) probably will help you to understand better the beggining of the situation and maybe, if can, walking the ground and meeting the people in the place, the ones that in someway are the “protagonists” of the history, will give you a lot more of real ideas and points of view than the theories and the forums discussions could ever do. At least that is what i´m trying to do!!!…a+
