Panoramic cameras: X-pan or any other options

I’m in the market for a film panoramic camera for use in editorial work, not landscapes. I’m looking at the Hasselblad X-pan with the 45mm, f4 or the 30mm, f 5.6 although that may be too wide.

If there are any other comparable cameras, please let me know.

If there are any sellers in the US or Canada as I will be there in next week, please pm me.

Thanks and all the best,
Charlie

Charlie, you should be aware that there have been two versions of the Hasselblad X-pan, X-pan and X-pan 2. Also this camera was made in collaboration with Fujifilm, so the Japanese/Asian versions are the TX-1 and TX-2. Because of the price tag, I have never considered buying the camera. I know one photographer in Baltimore who used the X-pan because he was given the camera by Hasselblad. He is a nature and landscape photographer, but he seems to have gone completely digital nowadays, and his equipment list does not list the X-pan when I just checked although he still must scan films as he lists a film scanner.
