paris- filming creds?

Hi all, A documentary project I’ve been involved in will be in Paris filming the elections. Wondering if anyone knows if the film crew needs special permits to film the voting, and if so, how to get them? Any advice greatly appreciated.

I am not familiar with election specific procedures, but, generally speaking you need an authorization for everything in the land of stinky cheeses.
