Forty-year-old Indian shooter Parth Sanyal has extensively covered South Asia over the last 20 years for various Indian newspapers and global wire services. Parth has worked for The Independent in Mumbai, The Hindu group of publications and Reuters out of Kolkata.
Parth has won several awards for photojournalism and his work has appeared in most of the leading newspapers and magazines across the world, which includes, International Herald Tribune, Washington Post, New York Times, The Guardian, Time Magazine, Newsweek, Boston Globe, National Geography online etc.

Recently finished the assignment of being the official photographer of BCCI/Sportzpics to cover Season 4 of Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament 2011.
