About

Pat McDonnell is a freelance photographer and film maker based out of Decatur, Ga. For the last eight years he has worked seasonally for the Nantahala Outdoor Center as a photographer and raft guide. In 2001 Pat created Medicinebleu films, a film and photography company specializing in documentary subjects that capture the spirit of ordinary people with big ideals and humble ambition. Styled as a lo-fi grassroots collective, Medicinebleu films has allowed Pat to shoot and travel all over the world. With such locales as Nepal, Patagonia, and Ecuador, Pat’s projects have captured the human condition in the most impossible landscapes. He is a graduate of the school of Television, Film, and Recording Arts at Florida State University. Pat is currently working on a project following the last mullet fisherman of N. Florida. Other projects find him in Nepal, following the work of the NGO Friendship Clinic Nepal.

which data storage unit is best?

I am trying to sort out which portible data storage unit that most photo journalist are using these days. I have been looking at the epson P5000, but have been looking at a few others including the wolverine EPS series. I hate traveling with my laptop and would prefer a smaller digital solution. I will be traveling in the tropics and need something pretty rugged.
