About

I am currently studying for a MA degree in Photojournalism at Dalian University, China (twinned with Bolton University, UK). I have been travelling in and around China for ten years, with side trips to Africa and South America. I search to capture a moment, and in that short space of time reveal something extra about an individual, their environment or culture.

I am also involved in film-making in China. Having studied at the Hong Kong Film Academy I own a production company called mandarin film which makes documentaries, tv, film and online content.

I am also a founding member of eight treadmills which makes short films and documentaries.
