About

With a BFA in photography from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, I am now based out of London, in the UK.

From 2004 -2006 I was an associate producer on the HBO and Film4 documentary We Are Together about children at the Agape Orphanage in South Africa.

In 2006 I was the photographer for the US based charity Keep A Child Alive as they brought their ambassador and co founder, Alicia Keys on a tour of their HIV/AIDS treatment clinics in Uganda, Kenya and South Africa.

I now work part time as a freelance photographer and as the director of a small charity The Rise Foundation which uses film as a tool to create change for important causes.

Artist Reps and Photo Agencies

Those of you out there that have an Artist Rep or Agency could you tell us a little bit about how you became involved with your rep or agency? ie. Did you contact them and show a portfolio, did they contact you after seeing your work somewhere.

What is the best way to approach and show work to Artist Reps and Agencies? ie. phone call, email, meeting in person, online portfolio, printed portfolio etc.

What are they looking for not looking for?

How do you find the ones that are best for your individual style and interests?

And any other advice on this topic would be really great!
