Job description: University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing arts.

Bring your passion for documentary photography and photojournalism to this practice-based MA programme. Working closely with the Course Director, you will take manage the course on a day to day basis, while ensuring that the subject is taught within an historical context that serves to illuminate critical takes on contemporary practice.

We will also look to you to create links with national and international photographic organisations, as well as contribute to the photographic culture at LCC through seminars, book launches and your own research activity.

With a background as a picture editor, working within an agency, a gallery, in publishing or a photojournalist/documentary photographer of some repute, you will bring with you a range of industry-relevant skills, from story origination to layout and design to editorial sales. And while you will also have the various organisational/management strengths needed to administer the course, it will be your sheer enthusiasm for the subject that ultimately motivates students and fellow teachers alike.
