Performance and photography

Happy new year to all members who happen across this post.

I’d just like to say a big thank you to the organisers and staff who maintain this website, I think it’s a tremendous initiative and a fine testament to the creative possibilities of the Internet.

The main purpose of this post is to find out whether anyone here has used photography in performance, whatever the style or form, and if so how,  why and to what extent did they use it?

The reason I ask is partly because it ties together two of my passions in life: photography and theatre and partly becasue I’ve begun work on a project that I’m calling ‘street theatre on film’ which involves recording a series of images of people passing by a set decor, projecting those images as slides with street sounds and a text composed by me. So I’m looking to broaden ideas where possible.

Thanks for reading.

Best wishes
