Today I happily received a Regional Bgan modem that I connected to my Powerbook with a ethernet cable. I receive the Bgan home page, I can see the indication for the antenna signal strength. I learnt that all this info is received from the built-in-software on the modem. As soon as I search for a Web page, Safari or IE tells me immediately it can not find the Web page. At the system software the Ethernet box shows it is connected to Internet, indicating the IP number.
When I connect the same Bgan modem to a PC/Microsoft laptop I can immediately connect to the Internet and receive any page.
I am using an Apple Powerbook, 1,33Mhz, OS X 10.3
Any help is highly appreciated!
With thanks, Petterik Wiggers
