About
I’m a student at Tufts University. From June 28-July 21, I’m conducting a research project on the political, economical, and social nature of poverty among the Muslim communities in the banlieues, and how that nature relates to violence, like the Paris area riots in 2005.

I’m looking for a cheap and trustworthy fixer/translator for a research trip in the banlieues in the administrative department of Seine Saint Denis, outside of Paris, from June 28 through July 21. I’m also looking for people to observe and interview for this project, namely government officials in the Ministry of Urban Affairs, NGOs that work in the banlieues, officials in the governments of Seine Saint Denis and banlieues, people who live in the Muslim communities in the banlieues, people who live in other ethnic, religious etc. communities in the banlieues. I’m especially interested in speaking to people who live in and work in Clichy-sous-Bois, Saint-Denis, Aulnay-sous Bois, La Corneuve, Bobigny, Aubervilliers, Villepinte, but any person who can help me in and around Paris is welcome. Thank you.
